After breakfast, step straight into the footsteps of the pharaohs on the legendary Giza Plateau. Stand in awe before the towering Great Pyramid of Khufu – the last surviving wonder of the ancient world – and explore the beautifully preserved Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. A short walk brings you face-to-face with the enigmatic Sphinx, its timeless gaze watching over the sands for over 4,500 years.

In the afternoon we enter the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), one of the world’s greatest treasure houses. Marvel at the colossal statue of Ramses II, wander galleries filled with golden masterpieces, and come eye-to-eye with Tutankhamun’s dazzling mask and treasures – exactly as they were found a century ago. From the solar boats to exquisite jewelry, every artefact whispers secrets of a glorious past. A perfect first full day: the majesty of the pyramids under the open sky, followed by the air-conditioned splendor of the GEM. Evening at leisure and dinner overlooking the Nile.

Touch down in Aswan, where the Nile glitters emerald against rose gold deserts. After a warm greeting “Ahlan wa Sahlan” we transfer to our Nile cruise ship – your floating home for the next three enchanting nights. Step aboard, enjoy welcome lunch on the sun deck, and feel the gentle rhythm of the river begin.

In the afternoon, accompanied by your passionate guide, you’ll discover Aswan’s timeless treasures: the monumental Aswan High Dam, a modern marvel that transformed Egypt forever; the exquisite Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and dramatically rescued from the rising waters, now reigning in serene beauty on its island; and the ancient red-granite quarries where the colossal Unfinished Obelisk still lies, the largest ever attempted, frozen in stone for 3,500 years. As the sun dips low, board a traditional felucca and drift silently across the Nile, weaving between lush islands and past brightly painted Nubian villages. The sky ignites in orange and violet while the call to prayer echoes softly across the water – pure magic. Return to your ship for a sumptuous dinner as the stars emerge above the desert. Fall asleep to the gentle lapping of the Nile against the hull.

Today, we set sail toward Kom Ombo. This temple and its surrounding settlement lie 40 km north of Aswan. Dedicated to the deities Sobek and Horus, the temple dates primarily to the Ptolemaic and Roman periods (332 B.C.–395 A.D.). In the afternoon we continue our Nile journey as we continue sailing toward Edfu.

A horse-drawn carriage will bring you to the Temple of Horus. The Temple of Edfu, an impressive Upper Egyptian site dominated by one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Dedicated to the falcon-god Horus, the Ptolemaic Temple of Horus was constructed between the reigns of Ptolemy III (246 B.C.) and his successors on the site of a much earlier sanctuary. Evening Egyptian folklore show onboard the cruise.

Arrived at the west bank of Luxor , today we dedicate the day for the Kings and Queens. We explore the extraordinary highlights of Luxor, beginning with a visit to the legendary Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s most famous pharaohs. Next, we explore the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, a remarkable mortuary temple built for Egypt’s only female pharaoh, followed by a stop at the iconic Colossi of Memnon, the two massive stone statues that have stood for over 3,000 years. Afternoon and lunch onboard and leisure time to relax onboard the ship, and evening dinner onboard.

Today we disembark from the Nile cruise after three unforgettable nights on board. Our day start with a visit to the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple, one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in the world, showcasing centuries of ancient Egyptian architecture and history. Our day continues with a we visit the magnificent Luxor Temple on the east bank of the Nile. Originally built by New Kingdom Pharaoh Amenhotep III and later completed by King Tutankhamun and Ramses II, the temple’s grand first pylon—erected by Ramses II—is adorned with scenes depicting his famous Battle of Kadesh. Late afternoon flight back to Cairo where dinner is waiting for us.

On our last day in Cairo we explore the Hanging Church, Abu Serga and Ben Ezera Synagogue, the Coptic Cairo. Upon arrival, we embark on a fascinating sightseeing tour of Cairo, beginning with Old Cairo, where we explore the historic Islamic districts, rich with centuries of religious and cultural heritage, with Sultan Hassan Mosque and Mohamed Ali Citadel. Later, we visit the vibrant Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, a bustling market filled with colorful shops, traditional crafts, and local treasures. In the evening, we gather for a memorable farewell dinner, either overlooking the majestic Nile or with stunning views of the city skyline, celebrating the incredible journey through Egypt.
