Arrive in France. After meeting your Tour manager at the airport, board your coach and head to the Normandy region with a stop in Giverny to see the inspiration for many of Monet’s garden paintings. Welcome Dinner & overnight in Normandy area.

Today, travel back in time as you learn much about World War II history with your Tour Director during a visit to Normandy, location of the 1944 landing of Allied troops. Pay your respects to the over 9,000 American soldiers who perished in the Battle of Normandy when you visit their burial place at the American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer. You will walk in the footsteps of history as you walk on Omaha Beach, where American soldiers landed on D-Day. And visit Pointe du Hoc and the monument that pays tribute to the heroic American 2nd Ranger Battalion. Then take in the coastal Arromanches, site of another Allied landing, and enjoy free time to grab lunch and explore. Overnight Normandy area.

After breakfast, travel to the French capital. After check-in at hotel in Paris center you will visit Louvre Museum to see the many masterpieces. On your way to dinner in Latin Quarter, you will pass the historic Notre Dame in all its glory. After dinner, enjoy the Parisian scenery on your evening Seine River cruise. Overnight in Paris.

This morning, you’ll experience the best that Paris has to offer as you check off some of those bucket list items on your locally guided tour. Learn about the history, architecture, and culture of this grand city. Head down Paris’s most famous street, the famed Champs- Élysées, lined with sycamore trees and crowned by the Arc de Triomphe. Some of the other sites you will see are Pont Neuf and Notre-Dame Cathedral. Pass by the Eiffel Tower, the Palais Garnier opera house, and Place de la Concorde, the grandest square in all of Paris. After a break for lunch, our local guide will continue to guide you through the Palace of Versailles, the 17th century, former royal residence built by King Louis XIV. Dinner and overnight back in Paris at night.

Head to the Eiffel Tower and marvel at the views across the city. Enjoy some free time this afternoon in Paris. Perhaps buy some souvenirs at Le Bon Marché or splurge on the Champs Elysée. Then enjoy a typical Parisian setting with dinner in Montmartre at night. Overnight in Paris.

Take the Eurostar speed train from Paris to London. Hit the ground running and start your London time with guided sightseeing with our local expert guide. Become acquainted with the city, seeing, for example, Soho, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral and other hot spots on your guided tour. Check into your centrally located hotel and then sit down and stretch your legs at night over dinner. Overnight in London.

Tour Manager walk through Oxford center and then visit Oxford University. Then drive through the scenic villages of the Cotswolds en route to Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s hometown where you will visit the former cottage of the Bard’s wife, Ann Hathaway, and Shakespeare’s birthplace. Then back to London for dinner and overnight.

This morning, it’s off to the Tower of London, where you’ll have the chance to explore this secure fortress, royal palace, and infamous prison. Get up close to the crown jewels, see the “beefeaters” walking the grounds, and count the ravens in the courtyard. It is said that the Tower, along with the entire Kingdom of England, will fall if six resident ravens ever leave the fortress. (There are nine ravens at the Tower today). Then make the most of your free time in the city this afternoon before rejoining the group for dinner this evening. Overnight in London.

Start your day with a visit to the world’s most architecturally sophisticated prehistoric monument with your entrance to Stonehenge. A ring of 13-feet high, 25-ton sarsens standing stones, Stonehenge has long been shrouded in mystery. Some consider it a spiritual place, others a healing place, some, a place to meditate and others a place to celebrate, yet each traveler comes away with their own unique impressions. What will yours be? Then head on to Bath, which earned a transnational UNESCO designation this year for its world-famous Roman spas that date back to the 7th century AD. History meets geology with your included entrance to the Roman baths, which are sourced by the rainfall from 3 the Mendip Hills, which then percolates down through limestone aquifers and is heated by geothermic energy. Then head back to London for at your farewell dinner at night.
